DATA SECURITY & INFORMATION PROTECTION
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities and is updated accordingly to ensure your visits to our website are safe. We also scan regularly for Malware.
PII (personally identifiable information) and collected data are contained behind secured networks. All sensitive information is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Access is extremely limited to persons who have special admin rights to access such systems; these persons are required to keep information confidential. Any transmission of data to third-party vendors (such as Google) is anonymized.
COOKIE POLICY
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, mobile ad identifiers, and similar technologies to facilitate the functionality of our website, to better understand how visitors are using our site so that we may improve our services, to determine advertising displayed elsewhere, and ultimately to provide you with a better, customized online experience.
Definition of Cookies & Why We Use Them
Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer or device (such as a mobile phone or tablet) when you visit a website.
Cookies may generate and store a unique identification number that is tied to your computer or device and the browser you used to access a website. (This identification number keeps your data anonymous.) These cookies help to recognize you has the same user across multiple browsing sessions and/or websites.
Cookies allow third parties, like Google, to analyze our website's performance and provide us with statistics that give us the ability to understand the most popular parts of our website by helping us see which webpages, features and other content visitors access the most and how much time they spend on our site. We study this information to continually improve our website in order to provide you with a better experience and more relevant, useful information.
Cookies also help to identify website visitors in order to serve targeted ads about us and our website when those visitors are on other websites, services or platforms. This is called "retargeting advertising" or "remarketing." We have more information about our use of remarketing in the Targeted Advertising section below.
We use several categories of cookies to both deliver you a positive experience when using our website and to collect data that can help us improve our services.
Essential Cookies — some cookies are necessary for you to use our website and its features. Without them, some parts of our website could not function. No information about your browsing or use habits are gathered by these kinds of cookies.
Functional Cookies — these types of cookies remember your preferences and settings, and can help us improve the way our website works. Functional cookies are "persistent," which means our website remembers them when your computer or device comes back to our website.
Analytics Cookies — these cookies collect information about how you use our website, such as most frequently visited pages, how long you spend on a page, any difficulties you had with our website; analytics cookies also help us to understand if our advertising is effective or not. We cannot personally identify you through these cookies, but the third parties who provide the cookies (like Google) may be able to. You can read more about our use of analytics cookies in the Google Analytics & Google Ads section below.
Targeting Cookies — these kinds of cookies are used to deliver relevant ads to you on other sites. Targeting cookies are set by third party suppliers (like Google or Facebook) who serve you ads based on your previous visits to our website. Without these kinds of cookies, online advertisements you encounter are less relevant to you. You can read more about our use of targeting cookies and remarketing in the Targeted Advertising section below.
Managing & Disabling Cookies: Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. They can be configured not to do so, or to notify a user when a cookie is being sent. If you want to disable cookies, please refer to your specific browser's help menu. Please note that disabling browser cookies or Flash cookies may interfere with the proper functioning of our website.
You can read more about how to manage cookies stored on your devices here.
Beacons & Pixels
Beacons (also called "pixels") communicate information from your device to a server. These can be embedded in online content, in videos, and in emails. They allow a server to read certain types of information from your device, know the time and date when you viewed particular content or read an email message, and the IP address of your device. We and third parties may use these technologies for a variety of purposes, including to analyze and understand your use of our website.
Other Technologies & Local Storage
We and third parties may also implement other kinds of similar technologies, such as Local Shared Objects ("Flash cookies"), HTML5 local storage, or unique identifiers associated with your device (such as mobile ad identifiers).
These technologies are similar to cookies in that they are stored on your device and store certain information about your activities and preferences. They may use different parts of your device than standard cookies, so you may not be able to control them using standard browser settings.
Disabling HTML5 local storage varies depending on your browser(s). You can find information about disabling or deleting information in Flash cookies here.
Please note that disabling or deleting these technologies may interfere with the performance of our site, or cause some features to display improperly.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS & GOOGLE ADS
Google is a third-party vendor we use for gathering and analyzing data about your use of our website, and for advertising to you on other websites across the internet.
We have implemented first-party cookies (like the Google Analytics cookie) on our website in order to use Google's services.
Google Analytics
We use the Google Analytics cookie to gather data about visitors to our website and how they use our website, such as the pages visited, the time spent on each page, and how visitors move through our site. Analytics helps us to understand where our visitors are coming from and what content on our site is most popular. This helps us to continually improve our website and services by creating content that is useful and relevant, and making sure that our website is easy to use.
Google Analytics Advertising Features
We have also enabled advertising features in our Google Analytics by implementing additional Google cookies on our site. These features, such as Demographics and Interest Reporting, collect and report on additional data about our traffic.
These first-party cookies as well as third-party cookies (like a Facebook cookie) compile data regarding user interactions specific to ad impressions and other ad service functions relating to our website.
As with other analytics data, this helps us to better understand how visitors are finding and using our website so that we can continue to improve and tailor content, including advertisements, to better serve our visitors.

Google Ads
Formerly called AdWords, Google Ads allows us to serve ads to previous website visitors on the Google advertising network established on sites across the Internet. We use the Remarketing or Similar Audiences feature in Google Ads in order to serve ads to past website visitors.

OPTING OUT OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS & REMARKETING
You have the ability to set preferences for how Google collects your data and advertises to you.
You may opt-out of Google Analytics Advertising Features through Ads Settings, Ad Settings for mobile apps, or with the Network Advertising Initiative consumer opt-out.
You may opt-out of Google Analytics by implementing a Browser Add-On: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/
Please note that cookies are device AND browser specific, which means they cannot communicate across devices or web browsers like Firefox and Chrome. This also means that if you use multiple browsers and wish to opt-out of tracking, you will need to do so for all devices and browsers.
TARGETED ADVERTISING
As discussed above, we work with third party vendors, like Google and Facebook, who use cookies to show relevant ads to you on other sites based on your previous visits to our website.
These technologies also help us to determine if you've seen a particular advertisement before, tailor ads to you if you've previously visited our website, and avoid sending you duplicate ads.
OPTING OUT OF TARGETED ADVERTISING
In addition to disabling cookies and other tracking technologies, you can opt-out of receiving targeting advertising from participating ad networks, vendors and service provides by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance.
CalOPPA: YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
The California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) is the first state law to require commercial websites to post a privacy policy.
If you are a resident of California, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to once a year, free of charge, request information about the disclosure of your personal information to a third party for that third party's direct marketing purposes.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
If you are a California resident and have additional questions about this policy, or would like to make such a request, please send an email to or write to us at:

COPPA (CHILDREN ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT)
We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children without parental consent.
DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some web browsers offer users a "do not track" option or similar mechanism that can send signals to websites indicating users do not want their online activity to be tracked. This option differs from blocking cookies, because some browsers can still accept cookies even with the "do not track" option enabled.
As of yet, there is no industry standard defining how companies and websites should respond to "do not track" signals. We currently do not respond to "do not track" signals. If we do so in the future, we will modify this policy.
CHANGES MADE TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, as is necessary. We will notify you of changes by posting them here.
Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when the updates are posted here on our website.
Your use of our website and your provision of personal information to use our website indicates your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
