Spanish Day-boat Octopus

Our whole octopus and flower octopus are sustainably wild caught in fishing zone FAO 27, which spans the North Atlantic and western Mediterranean, an area known for producing the best octopus. Flavor, texture and tenderness are directly affected by the ocean’s temperature and salinity. Octopus from these waters have a delicate flavor and mild salinity, tasting of the ocean without being fishy. They are very lean and meaty, with a toothsome texture and a pleasant chew.

We source whole and flower octopus from Costa Atlantico, based in Huelva, Spain, a pioneer in the production of cephalopods and family owned for more than 50 years.
